The InnovHer initiative is an intensive hackathon dedicated to accelerating female entrepreneurship in the healthcare sector (MedTech). It aims to support innovative female project leaders, by connecting
Despite their solid clinical expertise, women entrepreneurs in the healthcare sector face specific obstacles:
Structuring the medium/long-term vision: Transforming the clinical idea into a clear business strategy.
Data & Narrative: Formalizing clinical data to support a financial narrative and an impactful pitch to investors.
Intensity of the exercise: In 15-20 minutes per project (and an in-depth session for VIVMED), we need to bring about a significant change in perspective.
JuliaShift implemented intensive operational and strategic coaching, focusing on theessentials that a hackathon requires:
Quick Diagnosis: Identify blind spots and grey areas in the value proposition and business model.
Customized coaching for VIVMED: Co-coaching Vanessa Rabeau on her VIVMED project to build her M/L vision, structure the data to support the clinical narrative, and sharpen the pitch.
Lean Startup method: Application of fundamental questions to immediately challenge key assumptions, aligning the solution with a validated market need.
The approach was based on ultra-focused, iterative support:
Active Listening & Immersion: Quickly understand the heart of the innovation and the project’s stage of maturity.
Strategic framing: Defining critical next steps for growth and financing.
Pitch Iterations: Successive revisions and adjustments to the pitch to ensure a clear, structured and impactful message.
Data analysis: Verification of the tangibility of the data used to support clinical claims.
The coaching provided immediate and concrete results:
Validated Award: Vanessa Rabeau’s VIVMED team won the Stetoo award, validating the clarity of their new presentation and the impact of their project.
Improved Pitch: VIVMED’s presentation has been significantly improved, making the project more fundable.
Amplified synergy: Contribution to the cooperation and experience-sharing dynamics of the InnovHer ecosystem (no toxic competition).
Amplification of the Commitment: JuliaShift’s commitment to amplify its methodological support for female healthcare entrepreneurs in 2025.
